Deep Blue is a benefit album to support Oceana’s mission to save the world’s oceans and marine life. Proceeds from the album go towards Oceana’s research initiative, their policies to influence positive change in ocean restoration, as well as helping fund ocean cleanup efforts around the world. Designed using 3D-printed hand drawn typography, a fishing net, and vector graphics, the album shows how the ocean is filled with plastics and garbage and it is harmful to marine life. Each song on the album was chosen because they are related to the ocean, water, or marine life in some way. The album cover is also produced using recycled plastics taken directly from the ocean.
